It works with balancing the “life force” “Ki”, which is called “Chi” in Chinese, and the same energy one uses in till example Thai Chi, Chi gong, acupressure or acupuncture.It is a very soothing and calming modality where the practitioner activates the clients own energy flow which enhances the body’s ability to heal and recover itself. It activates the parasympathetic nervous system which causes deep relaxation and regeneration of the body. Reiki also balances and cleanses the whole system of stuck energy and emotions as well as stress. It has also shown to reduces pain and tensions in the body and promote better sleep, improves mood and overall wellness and can even reduce depression. It also is a powerful tool for releasing trauma.

In a one-on-one session you just lay down with clothes on (nothing special needed, just something you feel comfortable in) and receives the Reiki activation through soft hands placements on the body. (included in the session is a shorter conversation about feelings or sensations that came up during the session, if you wish that, it is not mandatory or necessary)

But hands placements are not necessary for the treatment itself and it is also possible to work in distance session which you can receive in the comfort of your home or wherever you want to. (there will be no call or zoom meeting etc, just a set up time where you receive the Reiki and you will get two emails of me, one before the session with a short introduction and another email afterwards with sensations or informations I received during the session.)

I offer both distance and one-on-one sessions, the later take place at my studio at Katarina Bangatan 70, Stockholm.

Distance Session     40 min  cost  800 SEK
